I worked on the Airram 3.

A ramp was retrofitted to a prototype, and this meant the product could ride over higher thresholds and it protected the edge cleaning wheels. I took the basic CAD and added it to the production CAD while maintaining the aesthetics of the product.

I added the latches on the back of the bin lid and a hook at the front (the back recess on the front of the lid) to access the filter. I also resurfaced the bin lid.

we were having issues with the top handle being assembled the wrong way round, then once assembled incorrectly, it was difficult to pull apart.
The top handle needed a Poka-Yoke assembly to stop this from happening. There was discussions about changing the shape of the tube. This would mean a lot of parts and tooling would need to change, wasted time and money, plus a change to the aesthetics. So I came up with the idea to add small prongs on the top handle and channels in the lower handle.

  • I did some work on the leather handle and top handle, to do with surfacing and how it would be manufactured and assembled.
  • I helped with the bin door opening mechanism.

I did the initial design concept for some power tools. These were then developed by another designer, while I worked on other projects. This is now available to buy.

I named and did the CMF for this hard floor cleaner.

I did some work on a concept for a barebones vacuum cleaner that would be lightweight and affordable.
